The school is generally good, as it is soon moving locations the safety part should be fixed because of how many of the safety problems come from the location

I really like how they continually encourage the students to be college-ready. They track the students' academic progress and provide support when needed.

Bay Tech is an amazingly diverse school with small class sizes. Teachers really do try their best in order to help you at your own pace. Academically, they're really behind compared to other schools. Bay Tech also has a huge problem with favouritism as well. Overall I've had an average experience at Bay Area Technology school.

I'm not sure where this parent get's his/her information, but BayTech has two social studies/history teachers on staff. Bay Area Technology school is the best community school in Oakland. It offers quality education in a caring, family like environment. The class sizes are small so teachers are able to cater for the needs of the individual students. I love this school and therefore have enrolled my younger child now...
