Although Oberlin High School was in a small college town and didn't have the best facilities, all the staff did everything they could to help every student succeed. In fact, I believe that we all felt loved and cared for at the school because of the ratio of students to staff. There were at most 80 students in my graduating class, and we all shared a connection. Our class reunion will ultimately be an interesting one.

The school has very poor budgeting skills from the board of education. They spent around $1 million on fixing buses that have been around for 20+ years instead of buying new buses. The person they asked to fix the buses inflated the prices and they never realized that they were overpaying for everything, which in turn led to the high school have leaking ceilings that never get truly fixed, poor heating and barely any air-condition.

we have many extracurriculars but many people didn't do them. and for the sports we really did't win as much as we wanted too.

Oberlin High School is an amazing place. They have so many offerings given its small size. There are interesting electives, an amazing art program and some truly wonderful teachers and staff. I had a great high school experience here. While I was attending the teachers and staff were attentive, and had a passion for what they were doing. It is a small high school, so the class sizes aren't huge which allows you to get involved as a student. I graduated with under 100 students in my class...

The school is too small to have so many discipline problems with their students. The students do not respect the principle nor most of the staff. There are about 3 very respected teachers that the students aim to please, but that's not enough! Students roam the halls without staff knowing it caring....
