Harrison Elementary School is a public school nestled into the tree-covered Benson neighborhood at 5304 Hamilton St. in Omaha, Nebraska. Since 1930, Harrison has continued to grow, and now serves 272 students in pre kindergarten through sixth grade as well as providing a virtual schooling option. The school has a remarkable student-teacher ratio of fourteen to one which allows more personal attention for every student.
In addition to its core curriculum, Harrison Elementary offers resource programs in special education, English as a second language, and classes for the gifted and talented.

The Harrison Elementary Tigers show their team spirit through drama club and various school festivities throughout the year, and in 2021, the school was voted one of the best elementary schools in Omaha by US News. An absolute disgrace. Rather than making a positive change to prove that Public Schools are not horrible as some think. They do bare minimum. They are adding to the problem instead of solving the problem.

I went here for kindergarten through sixth grade. Those were fun years and I plan on sending my children to Harrison in a few years.

For over a decade, we have had at least one kid in Harrison School. Our experience has been wonderful. The kids have learned an amazing amount and have thrived under the guidance of excellent teachers. The school is getting better and better as the years go by.
