My experience at El Modena has overall been a good experience. Most of my teachers the last 4 years have been helpful, kind, and good at teaching their subject. The new buildings are nice but the bathrooms are almost never open, meaning there's even fewer bathrooms available than there used to be, which was not many. I know a lot of people who are also upset about that.

Good teachers and i think the curriculum is decent but the school is in bad shape physically and is in a bad part of town. sports coaches have a reputation for being awful and from personal experience and from friends a lot of them treat their athletes horribly. most of the faculty is nice but a lot of them also don't seem to care about the students at all. the school is full of gangs and often has drug sniffing dogs around. all of this there is t any culture either. no one cares about anything there and our student government does a horrible job of representing us and organizing events. there's no effort

If your child is an athlete, this school is for you. If not, sadly your child will be looked at as inferior, not only by the athletes, but staff and admin as well. Athletes are allowed to bully, harass, make inappropriate comments about females, etc, etc. The list goes on and on. When the issue is b...

The staff in the special education are great like no other. They truly took their time out to work with the children and they always go above and beyond. They always go out of their way for the children and like to handle all problems with positive attitudes. The office staff is amazing as well.

too many undocumented families are sending their offspring to the school and it has a diverse population that makes the learning curve utterly to low to compete with SAT scores or even going out in the world after the high school tenure...scary if your not paying attention, lets not get into CRT and...

I loved Elmo! My 4 years there were awesome. I couldn’t have been more glad to be in such a welcoming environment with lovely teachers. I never dealt with bullying there and rarely saw it. This is definitely one of the best schools in Orange County. It may not have the prettiest campus but the envir...
