Baldwin Park Elementary School students are proud Bobcats. Engaged in their community with the support of a strong Parent Teacher Student Association, this Orange County Public School offers prekindergarten through fifth grade. In addition to the core curriculum, students may participate in clubs such as Safety Patrol, Irish Dance, the News Club, which organizes a morning news show and the Film Club, which was a recent winner of the Orange County School Film Festival. The school offers a strong science, technology, engineering and math program, and Baldwin Park’s principal was recently recognized as STEM principal of the year by Orange County. Baldwin Park is a REED Charitable Foundation iModel school that supports literacy for all students focusing on students with dyslexia. Students enjoy many events throughout the year. Events include a Charlie & the Chocolate Factory party, a Writing Campout, an Art After Dark exhibit, and a Walk and Roll School Bus that encourages children to walk or ride their bikes to school with their parents. Baldwin Park Elementary is one of 37 Florida schools participating in the Everglades Foundation, protecting the natural ecology of the state. Baldwin Park Elementary has around 700 students and participates in Florida’s free prekindergarten program.

Excellent school in every way. Academics are strong, as well as, student support in mental health support, ese program, many after school clubs, and each child has their own ipad or computer. Always seeking to be more innovative and creative in teaching lessons.

The principal is a complete joke. Since COVID, his true colors have shown. I had to complain to the board of education about his practices during COVID regarding notifying parents because he just decided to stop calling and only send emails.
