I'm HPA class of 2023 and loved my five years there. I instantly felt accepted by my grade and made some good friends that lasted the rest of my years even though they all knew each other for four more years than I had been there. Every teacher was ridiculously engaged in my academics and personal life and strived to help me as much as possible, even if I blew it off. It is genuinely a great school, my one note is that the smaller vibe can sometimes fail to prepare you for High School depending on the scale of the school you go to, and can induce a culture shock of sorts.

Particularly in the younger grades, we've had very strong and consistent teachers. They care about the kids, are approachable, and utilize emerging and credible teaching practices.

Academics are strong, teachers are committed and caring, other families are involved, administration is responsive, kids feel safe and happy, and the value for the academic experience is excellent.

I went to this school K-8. I am a doctor now and wish I lived nearby to send my child here. Such great memories and an amazing environment to learn and thrive in. Prepared me well for flintridge prep high school. Couldn’t think of a better elementary school
