At IDEA Academy Pflugerville, students learn they can achieve amazing things. The school’s wizard mascot serves as a reminder and there’s even a saying on campus, “wands up!” In other words, “prepare to be extraordinary.”
IDEA Academy is a tuition-free, open-admissions public charter school. However, the school’s popularity means admissions are decided by a lottery. Students who are not admitted through the lottery are placed on a waiting list.
IDEA students begin preparing immediately for college acceptance. They receive individualized instruction in reading, writing, math, science and social studies. Campus visits bring college to life for third, fourth and fifth graders.
Field lessons help students link learning to the world beyond the classroom and explore possible career paths. The strong foundation students receive at IDEA Academy prepares them to advance to the IDEA College Preparatory program in sixth grade.
Life at IDEA Academy isn’t just about hitting the books. Fun activities such as a movie night, a fall trunk-or-treat event and virtual gatherings are planned throughout the year. At IDEA Academy Pflugerville, the mascot may be a wizard, but the real magic is the school’s ability to unlock the limitless potential of its students.

Horrible school! Kindergarten class has 30 students, NO technology, NO PE, NO music class, NO art class. Teachers are overwhelmed and can't teach because of discipline problems. Curriculum is a joke! Poorly run school: no library, no extracurriculars, limited parking which creates an hour wait time for drop offs and pickups. No IDEA is a more apt school name.

I would've give 0 stars if possible... Administration is a joke. Extremely unprofessional and unprepared for extreme bullying cases, THEY DON'T DO ANYTHING to protect the safety of our children.
