Valencia is like a second home to me. It's a place I enjoy being and I am proud to be apart of this excellent school. Tigers demonstrate pride for their school, through character, academics and our activities and sports. I wish the area saw us the way we see our school. We are called the ghetto school and we are far from that. Because of that we are missing facility upgrades for programs that would help us compete at higher levels. Mostly in athletics. Students transfer out to not go to our school.

The school is alright nothing crazy, programs do help you there. Most teachers are very nice and do care about their students. The AP teachers are very good at preparing you for the exams would recommend if you plan on taking those.

It is overall a pleasant place to go to school. All the staff are dedicated and open to help you out with literally anything, even if its in regards to academics or not. They take the time out of their day to make sure you succeed to whatever you put your mind to. They are great at making sure that no matter how much you are stuck or lets say just having a bad day there will always be someone there willing to hear you out and make you feel better. The only thing there is to worry about are the super long lunch lines and getting not so great food.

Valencia High School claims to be the best academic school in PYLUSD, but it's not. There are some good teachers but the most of them don't really care about their students and refuse to help. If students don't have good connections with certain groups of students or teachers, you are pretty much do...

Valencia offers perhaps the best academic programs in the PYLUSD school district, encouraging students to enroll in IB, Cambridge, and ValTech courses. The bulk of the student population consists of minorities, and such diversity contrasts with other schools within the district, ones that particular...

Overall good and sometimes bad for average and above-average students. But I am assuming it can get worse somewhere else.

There aren't too many high schools where you can experience a diverse student body combined with a strong academic program that allows access to ALL students. Amazing teachers, quality athletics, amazing clubs, and a strong instrumental music program. The drama program and school newspaper are the o...
