As someone who actually attends the school, and is in 8th grade here are my opinions, The school is overall pretty good. it's a nice campus with a big gym. Each grade has two teams they are animal themed. for instance, mine is sharks and gators. but they switch it every year. The teachers as far on my team, are nice but I'm not goanna lie some of them piss me off. And for all the moms writing bad reviews, you've clearly never attended the school yourself. Bullying does happen. vaping does happen. and there are pregnancy tests in the bathroom, but that's all-middle schools. but with that aside, its a pretty good school with funny kids and i have alot of fun there I'm goanna miss it so much when I leave.

School does not follow IEP plans. Insists their guidance counselor knows more that a licensed psychologist. They do not communicate with the parents at all. We will be filing a civil rights complaint with the Florida department of education

I go to school here. From that March 2024 post, I do agree with the bullying thing: I was bullied this school year and I didn't get much help. Though they tried, he just kept being a jerk. Southport does try to promote mental health and wellbeing, keyword TRY, and of course it's not the school's fau...

Horrible school! Bullying that gets dismissed. Staff and teachers don't care. Special needs program is non-existent unless you have an advocate. Look for another school!

This school has so many great and compassionate teachers, it is so bad when some leader nurture stereotypes that can make angry kids and parents to be disappointed.
