My experience at this school has been great overall. I'm able to take lots of AP classes, meet people from all sorts of backgrounds, and if you have an interest there is most likely a club for it. That being said, not all of the teachers are great, and some of them have an insane grading policy. Classical is a public school in Providence, so the funding isn't the best. Still, there are a lot of resources and people there that can guide you and prepare you for college.

The best part of my time in Classical was being constantly reminded how important we were to the school. They would always put students first and address their concerns. The worst part of my experience at Classical High School was probably my freshman year at the school because at the time there was no air conditioning. The classes were so hot it made it hard to focus.

Classical is a school that will prepare you for college is you take your own initiative. Guidance will not support you unless you go to them and sign yourself up for hard classes and college search assistance.

From my experience as a parent of a student, teachers are rude and far from understanding. Especially the principals. There was an incident where a teacher was misbehaving towards an autistic student, reported to the principals and nothing changed. Seen a review where another parent, just as i, stat...

My family loves the city of Providence. We moved here from out of state and were so pleased to learn that there were high performing public school options for our children. They both entered PPSD in Kindergarten and at that point, we planned for them to attend Classical High School once they got to...
