I'm a rising senior the Wheeler School, and I've been there since 9th grade. The teachers are very supportive, and ensure that students get extra help if they need it; whether that be in class or outside of class. The community is really welcoming, and there are tons of different clubs and affinity groups so that you can meet others with the same background/interests as you.

Wheeler has been such an amazing place for me to meet new people, explore my interests, and balance academics with clubs and sports. Throughout my past two years at Wheeler, I have made so many life long friends that are supportive and kind and every single one of my teachers helps me in every way that they can to make sure I succeed.

I love the new Design Shop program that Wheeler has begun to offer last year. It has opened my eyes to what I want to major in and how I want to contribute to my community. I don't appreciate how Wheeler handles Jewish student life. As a Jewish student myself, I have had teachers say horrible things to me and not face a single consequence. This is painful, and I know that many other students of various minority groups feel similar in that they are being misrepresented. For a school that wishes to represent the face of diversity, I can't understand why they handle these things so poorly.

I was really excited for my child to start at this school, but unfortunately, our experience has been very disappointing. One of the biggest concerns is the amount of bullying that goes unchecked. It seems to be a common issue, yet the school does very little to address it. There is also a noticeabl...

I have had two boys at the school and found it to be an excellent school - with a good balance of strong academics, a wide range of sports and activities, excellent teaching, and a strong track record of college placement after high school (Ivies and other top 20 colleges). As some of the other revi...

The school offers a very rigorous academic experience that in my opinion is too much. Many students at the school are stressed and overwhelmed with the amount of excessive academic overload. The school can develop a more holistic approach to every student so that they can be successful in all areas...
