It is a very small school with only one first grade and one second grade class. The teachers are wonderful and several where still there when my son stopped in to see them on his high school graduation day.

The gifted program at this school is not diverse in any way. The gifted program teachers are condescending, unhelpful, rude, stuck up and cruel. TCES only serves a 1 mile radius from the school which makes for an incredibly tight knit community. We’ve loved our time here and look forward to continuing to our next grade. Excellent school! My son is going to Three Chopt last 2 years and he likes it so much. Teachers are excellent, great activities at school, they focus on self confidence for children

The kindergarten through 3rd grades were alright till 4-5. It's when the staff will favor the gifted over the others. It's not right to make kids feel that they're lower than the "smarter" ones. I wouldn't recommend this school to parents who want their child to be treated correctly.
