My experience at Riverview was overall pleasant. I have a few teachers who were not the best but the majority of my teachers cared about their students success. One of my AP teachers provide me with lots of information on dual enrollment and my guidance counselor presented me with many opportunities.

I think Riverview is great and not so great at the same time. While things like quality of education I believe are at a pretty average level, I think there are many dedicated teachers and staff that work to make us as students days better. However, I believe that there is an overpopulation problem at this school which breeds a lot of of issues. All in all I believe that overall it's a good school to attend.

My teachers are great, they are caring and all of my teachers did an excellent job of teaching and they seem very passionate about it. The students are a bit distracting since there are a lot of trouble students here, it impacted my education experiences a bit but I did meet a lot of great friends. I would like to see more rules given out so it doesn't get any more wild there, and of course some things still need to be fixed like the constant special schedule, the late buses, and the environment.

Unfortunatley, this school has gone down tremendously . My son is a junior and every year has become more worse and the turnover rate even greater. There is no accountability for the students, and zero control over the students. There needs to be more security. ALso the bathrooms are disgusting, dir...

LOVEEEE THIS SCHOOL! GO SHARKS! It is such a fun school, and most of the teachers are amazing.

The IB Program is challenging and really prepares students for college. The IB teachers are easily the best in the district, although Dr. Minor lacks polish and charisma. He’s not a great representative for the program. My kids were very prepared for college and had no trouble with the transition.
