My experience at Avalon has been a good one. even after only 2 years, I have found my people, and 2 years might seem like a lot but it's relatively short for me. It has been filled with highs, lows, and everything in between. Sure maybe you will have to endure a lecture or two or maybe you will regret joining the Nordic skiing team but it's worth the journey you take the people you meet and what you learn. Avalon's independent study program is amazing and works wonders on a kid as they feel at the center of what they will learn and what they can do. This journey is a long but amazing and educating one and where you will land can be a little of a grey area but the chances are endless.

I was subjected to consistent bullying and physical assault at this school. The staff repeatedly ignored these incidents. On one specific occasion, a teacher witnessed me being assaulted and, instead of intervening, chose to laugh. This environment is negligent and unsafe for students.
