What COVID finally taught us was the crucial impact of social and emotional wellbeing to our overall health. Nativity is extremely lacking on both fronts. Any child who does not sit still at their desk and learn the way they expect them to learn is disciplined and made to feel like a bad child. They have no concept of neurodiversity and are relying on the expertise of a psychologist whose methods are extremely outdated. I am thankful we left and the public schools are way better equipped to provide the social and emotional support that all children need and deserve.
