Loved the teachers, hated every minute of everything else. If you need good grades in math, start studying up with IXL and Khan Academy. The Organic Chemistry Tutor is also great.

I attended Gateway High School due to its reputation with being focused and supporting to people with learning disabilities. I am dyslexia so throughout my years I have had a lot of challenges in grasping certain subjects, though Gateway High School has provided me with support and confidence. Over the years I have grown in my academic achievement and understanding in how I learn. The classes embrace diverse learning styles while the students embrace diverse people. For me it is not only a social community with my friends but a learning community, it is easy to step up in challenges with people and uplift others. Though I don't think Gateway High School has taught me how to be a better student, they have definitely provided me the resources I need to take my own opportunities and responsibility to my learning, which is hard with a disability.

We are so fortunate that my daughter gets to attend Gateway high school. She is a special learner, she is queer, and she has never made to feel any different than anyone else. She is supported by her students and teachers in every way possible. She is happy and excited to go to school every day. She...

Starting with what works well, I'd say the school successfully develops a curriculum that is engaging and relevant to students. Most/many of the teachers are dedicated and enthusiastic, and there is a strong commitment to embracing diversity -- all genders, race/ethnicities and learning abilities. S...
