The school is not bad overall but has its things. For example there are limited bathrooms which leads to long lines during breaks. Education wise it is pretty solid as it is an IB school which allows students to get high school credits and college credits if certain tests is passed.

I graduated from Del Mar high school in 2024 and now I am a freshmen in San Jose State University. I liked how there was always people in the library that would help you with the applications of college and transferring IB and AP credit. However I feel like the funds could've been used better to help students rather than buy 5 T.V's in the library that nobody can watch except for whenever there was a rare presentation. Managing funds correctly was somehow always hard for Del Mar Alumni. It would also have been better if the professors were more enthusiastic about what they do. But none the less there was a strong community and many clubs and activities to choose from.

Del Mar High School promotes college opportunities to every student who enters. Every day the college and career center is open for every student who has a question regarding applications. As a student here I feel very comfortable as an individual and I see the promotion of performing arts often. The school is diverse and well kept which keeps all students active in school events.

School has been a good place for any student and it caters all students and provides opportunities to learn, perform and excel. It also offers other programs and sports. It is great school for IB program which is becoming popular for many schools these days.

This school is not cleaned properly, and students' property gets stolen from them. I would not recommend bringing your child to pursue their education at this school; it is unsafe and not rated properly.

This school has improved ten fold in the past 15 years. I think their current score here is heavily influenced by the reputation that it had in the early 2000s. By people in the area it’s considered the better of the two schools in the Campbell union school district.
