I had a good experience for the most part! The only concerns I have is lack of safety. There have been numerous incidents at the school where the student's safeties were at stake.

The best part of my experience was my experience on the flag football and track team. I also had an amazing experience with the medical pathway especially my HBS class and teacher. They did an amazing job making the classes engaging and thorough. I did not have a great experience with many of the physics/math classes where it felt like I was teaching myself.

So far, the best experience of California High School is that the academics and the food has gotten way more better from my middle school. The only part of my experience that was kind of bad was that in the bathroom, there are many people that hotbox and thats the only part I dislike about the school. Other than that, California High School has been a good experience for me.

There is a reason parents are transferring their kids from the other San Ramon HS to Cal High. Cal provides a broad range of electives, activities and AP classes without being buried in the "pressure cooker" environment created by the parents at DVHS.
