I have had a very enjoyable time in AOC. The great thing about the school is the access to college level courses that you can take part in at COC right next door.

The best part about the experience is being able to take college courses and be on a college campus while still being in highschool. However, this means a lot of work which can be very stressful. Additionally, there are no sports teams and there is not that many events run by the school.

I absolutely adore Academy of the Canyons. It has been such an amazing high-school experience, being able to go to a middle college high-school has opened me up to being able to do so many different college classes and college opportunities because of just how close I am to College of the Canyons. I will have two associate's degrees by the time I graduate and a strong, confident path for my future all thanks to AOC.

It's a fantastic school to prepare kids for college. They can work on their majors in high school, and even graduate from high school with AA degrees if they plan it right. Also, the kids that I know are fantastic future leaders.

There are good students and bad students, great teachers and terrible teachers in AOC just like any other school. If your kid is a type of student who ends up doing all group work, I don't recommend this school. There are so many group work, homework, and teachers make things harder just to make thi...
