Finishing my senior year I can definitely say odea had its ups and downs. There is a lot of things that need to be addressed like the smoking in bathrooms, the amount of theft in the locker rooms that does not get solved at all, the bullying and overall way people treat each other. The sports at odea are the best in the state and the atmosphere is amazing. But if your not a top athlete then you will get treated poorly.

O'Dea moves fast — classes, sports, and a hundred things in between. One minute I'm in theology debating real-life stuff, the next I'm running with my team at practice, pushing past limits. It's all energy, all momentum. Everyone's grinding in their own way, and you either keep up or fall behind. It's intense, but I thrive in it.

O'Dea is a great school if you're interested in a catholic all boys private school. If you are interested in sports, culture, and brotherhood I recommend O'Dea Highschool.

Our experience with O’Dea was less than desirable. Only send your son to O’Dea if he is an excelling athlete otherwise it’s not worth it! O’Dea is led by the athletic director not the principal and he’s not a very kind man. Because of him they literally cancel full and half days of classes for sport...

We are so impressed with O'Dea High School! They really walk the talk! Our son is very happy even though the academics are challenging. The commitment of parent volunteering is also impressive. Parents want to give back. Respect for self, teachers, other students and for what the school stands for i...
