Shingle Creek was very well versed with different curricular and extra-curricular activities. Not only did they provide fair challenging academics, they also made sure to provide many ways for a child to gain help through tutoring, both on the weekends or after school weekdays, and with online programs that have helped with a child's cognitive capabilities as well as their memory.

Unorganized, lack of discipline and consequences for poor behavior, all-around struggle for the people in charge and huge lack of support. Teachers are really good and some truly care about the kids. School is not as clean as it should be. Many pros, so many cons.

I was employed here briefly before I resigned. Principal and assistant principal do not roll up their sleeves and get in there to do what is right for kids. Instructional coaches/teachers do all of the heavy lifting. As a title I school, funding is clearly not going to appropriate areas as all staff...
