I had a decent experience in most of my classes, and I made a few pretty close friends. Socially, HMS is cliquey but it is possible to break out of that mold. There was some discrimination from admin, but most of the staff and teachers tried their best to work with you if you also put in some effort and went to them for help.

I believe that Hillside Middle School has is a very average school considering it is a public school and just a middle school.

I'm a student here and I love this school the food is good and the teachers are nice. There are a couple of fights but the supervisors stop them. THere is also little to no bullying. I would recommend this school

They really care about the students and if a problem with the student grades arises, there are some multiple ways for a parent to be able to talk to someone about getting it remedied.
