Honestly switching to Royal saved me. I had gone to Simi Valley High school for freshman year and it was the worst experience. I felt no connection to faculty or any students. I did not belong. At Royal I was able to excel. I was taught so much and felt a sense of belonging. I was able to truly learn and ask questions.

Royal is the best high school in the Ventura and LA district. Highly recommended and it's a growing high school.

My experience so far I pretty good but I feel that many things have been cut due to the school's budget. My favorite program sports medicine couldn't afford to keep our athletic trainer so we now no longer have the clinic and trainer. If we get injured there is no resources.

The school does not do enough to include students who are not always engaged on campus.

I did not enjoy it here at all. The kids seem to stay in their little cliques and were extremely judgmental when I went here. A lot of the teachers I had we not decent and their P.E. class made me feel like I was in boot camp. This is such a competitive school and expects a lot of people to be into...
