GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

This school has an amazing NJROTC program. It is one of my favorite parts about the school. We have lots of fun clubs and activities. We have some good teachers but not all. The school lacks college and career readiness. I feel like the faculty should know more about colleges and such considering they are the ones pushing the students to further their academics. We need more teachers that are willing to assist their students outside of class time. I think the school should push our students to take dual enrollment classes to build their transcripts for college. We need a better safety plan. There are too many incidents where rumors are spread about students bringing guns on to campus. There is also now no privacy in the bathrooms now because teachers are having to monitor the bathrooms due to students smoking in the restrooms and skipping class to do so.

If you are into farming and agriculture this would be a perfect school for you. If you are more into the arts not so much. Most teachers I had here were nice and engaged into students so that is a plus.

I like my teachers and classes. The classes that interest me are my interior design classes I have taken & early childhood education.

The principal is outstanding. A+++++ My oldest son was accepted into Western Honors College. Graduated with a 4.0 and two majors and two minors. Southeast provided the foundation to make this possible.

The most recent review of this school was over 4 years ago,. and said this school was on a track for greatness. It has reached it. Charles Blanchard is a great principal, and I have had nothing but positive experiences in my son's classes or with teachers this year. Very supportive environment. Grea...
