GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I'm a Senior at Springboro and overall, I liked my time in high school. I had a good friend group and we had a good time together through our high school years. I always loved my teacher and staff, they were really kind and thoughtful. I thought it was a good environment to be in.

While Springboro High School is great academically, it would be nice to see some changes in opportunities offered. There are very few club offerings and minimal ways to get involved in student life.

Springboro High school does an amazing job preparing students for their next chapters in life through the many different courses and extracurriculars they offer. The staff care for the students and always go out of their way to help their students succeed in every endeavors they might take on.

This has been a wonderful school for my son. I feel very confident that he will be ready for college. I can’t say it’s perfect because no school is but I love that they have college courses and AP classes for students that are ready. I always feel like my son is very safe there.

Non-core subjects treated as being unimportant. Stress is on standardized test scores and looking good to the com...

I have had one daughter graduate from SHS and another is a Junior. Both had fantastic experiences. They both had many opportunities to be involved beyond just going to school. From Student Council to Marching Band, they learned so much more than what was taught in the normal curriculum.
