We actually hoped to be a homeschooling family but there were a lot of amazing changes going on at Goretti and so we enrolled our oldest in Kindergarten and have been blessed by that decision. The communication front the top and from his teacher is great and the community is an unexpected highlight for my son and I me both :) Honesty, I could teach him how to read at home in a week. What I wanted was for him to be formed. To be instruction firstly in virtue and character. To know that he is loved by God more than he could possibly know, and that he can in fact have a relationship with God through prayer and the sacraments. I feel like Goretti as a whole will mimic the things we are trying to teach at home. Really loving this school.
