GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Wonderful experience. Teachers are very engaging and committed to student success. Sports are competitive but do not overshadow academics.

I enjoy going to Seneca High School. I have become close with a lot of my teachers and coaches. I love the friends that I have made going to Seneca. the best part is seeing my friends and the teacher I like to talk to. The worst part is when we have to do progress assessments. I know you have to do them at every school but man they are so boring. Something I would change is some teachers only let one person go to the bathroom at a time and when I did go waiting in line was not the best.

Our school's staff is very welcoming, supportive, and motivated. Staff and peers alike strive to create an enjoyable environment schoolwide. Through several schoolwide events such as spirit carnivals and students vs staff, bonds between peers and staff are established. Teachers go above and beyond academically as well, providing support beyond their required job scope.

We had just moved to the district and a month in, my daughter suddenly began to suffer unexplained physical neurological issues. She was presenting with loud vocal and motor tics that would have been a distraction to the class and embarrassment to her. While trying to figure out what was going on wi...

Seneca HS is the least desirable HS in the Lenape District. Sports, clubs, and activities are much better at the other HSs in the district, maybe because Seneca sits in a rural area, with lower income students, and is smaller than the others. Some teachers and administration members are great, but m...

I have had 3 children in Seneca, one of whom was in Special Ed and another in AP English, AP Science and Honors Math. The staff is caring, informative and helpful. All 3 have received a great education.
