Venice High has been an overall good experience for me and my family. Does it have some very serious issues? Yes it does. However, I felt like the district is really trying to improve the culture and community of the school.

I transferred to Venice my senior year of high school for the 2022-2023 school year. The school itself was just finishing up with remodeling so some buildings and track were new. I will say all my teachers really had a heart to teach and for students to learn. They wanted students to grow and just succeed wherever their future took them. Some faculty and administration was a bit more strict and not as helpful when it came to certain issues. There was big diversity at Venice, plenty of opportunities to interact with others from different backgrounds. The school was big on sports and had lots of community in that aspect. Also events like Grease night where you would go on the lawn and watch Grease since parts of the movie were filmed at Venice. Overall good experience at Venice, I don't regret my choice of going there.

I had a great experience overall while attending Venice High School. The school has a lot of culture and diversity. Throughout your four years, there is a lot of help and support for going into college; the college center had to be the best place in the entire school because of the help they provide for students. Venice High School cares for your success.

Venice High has been recently remodeled and many buildings and the track/gym are new. The school has many programs that students can participate in. There are two magnet programs as well. There are clubs and many sports. This is our local school and it’s diverse and seems to be improving every year....

VHS campus is beautiful and the new science, gym, arts building are first class. Students are diverse and seem to get along quite well. Lots of AP classes and programs for students with different interests. And the sports program is amazing…XC, basketball, tennis, football, soccer, baseball. And so...

Venice High has a lot to offer; AP classes, Sports Medicine, STEM, World Languages & Global Studies, Dual Language and so much more. Strong leadership from the Principal, along with caring teachers. This is a great community school for those that want the full high school experience; solid academics...

Awful, they claim they are against bullying but they have no plans in order to stop it. It ruined my daughter’s senior year.
