Best part about the school was that the teachers were extremely supportive of one's college ambitions. Worst part is kids being in wannabe gangs and making threats to others as well as sneaking in illegal items in the schools like weed and e cigs

The best parts about it was the variety in classes they offer. I loved the fact that they had some career classes to dip into an idea of what those careers would look like. I was able to take medical and child development and they were both so fun and educational. The thing I would say that was negative would be the toxic negative relationship teachers would have with each other and the horrible grading some teachers would have. But overall I had a good time

The best part of my experience at Silverado High School has been being president of M.E.Ch.A and hosting events for the club as well as being apart of AVID. The worst part of my experience has been the race riots that have broken out each year during my freshman and sophomore year. Something I would like to see change in school is the profiling of students by security due to the race riots.

Silverado High School, like all local comprehensive schools, has its challenges BUT it is an excellent community. They have 2 fulltime Mental Health Clinicians, the students have a multiple oppportunities to participate in mental health weeks, seminars, college tours, college application drives, etc...

This school and its principals are a joke. Do not send your kids here. Worst high school in Victorville.

SHS is voted Best of the High Desert over and over. It is a good school with great programs.
