For starters the school isn't really that bad. Like any other school it has its issues but I feel that is one really wants to succeed they can find the resources they need.

My experience here at Golden West has been a good one since the people here are friendly and the teachers do very well at their jobs. These past 4 years have been a blast and the people I have met and teachers are people I will never forget because of the impact they have made on me. One teacher in particular that made his class fun was Mr.Villalobos, he made woodshop entertaining and was always ready to help you.

As an alumni of this school, I would not recommend sending your children here. If you can avoid it at all, please do. Extremely high gang activity, disengaged teachers, and poor inclusivity has plagued this school since the 90's. I am sorry to say it has not changed at all.

In addition we continually send students to he top universities. Our emphasis continues to be on the whole student and growing...

Both of my children attend Golden West High School. My husband is a retired Marine and our children have attended many schools in many states throughout the years. Golden West has been the best school our children have attended, including the military base schools. Golden West is not a perfect schoo...
