McGarvin Intermediate is an average middle school with high academic expectations. The school has a pre-AP program which prepares students to be self-sufficient in high school. It also has a computer science program which teaches a beginner style course for future computer science majors. The infrastructure is fairly old and classroom sizes sometimes do not fit into the classrooms.

The school doesn't really have an threats to the students. Bullying is a serious matter, but here at McGarvin, there's none of the sort.

omg , i love this school , i have favorite teachers already and it’s only the 2nd week of school. my photography teacher n math teacher are so nice n cool , recommended!!

A majority of students here are fine. Though, fights tend to happen a lot and the principal doesn't really do anything. School dances are honestly kind of boring. One thing I would like to mention is the way teachers are, how I got bullied and the teachers/principal did nothing and put the blame on...
