GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at boardman high school was middle of the road. I wouldn't say that I had a bad time attending Boardman, but I didn't have the best time either. I would like to see the staff and administration take a little bit more interest in the students and community. I was a little disappointed with how uninvolved the staff was with the events going on at the school.

Boardman high school was truly what I would call a family, everybody was so accepting of each other and there was no cliques. They could improve in the elective department, not a lot of good classes

Overall, the teachers and staff were very supportive of me and I never felt afraid to walk through the doors. However, I wanted the dress code to change and be more supportive to young women instead of only trying to prevent the boys from being distracted.

The current administration has made drastic changes to long-held policies, much to the students' and parents' dismay...

I am a graduate of this school and my classmates all agree that we received a sub-par education and treatment based upon class and status. In order to achieve anything at this school, you need to have a strong social connection and money. For example, teachers and faculty won't even bother to interv...
