Richmond Hill's housing stock at a glance

In Richmond Hill, you’ll mostly find brick ranch-style homes from the mid- to late 1900s, with limited infill construction. “If you’re looking for character in a home, this would be a good place for you,” says Kyna Curtis, a Realtor with RE/MAX True Advantage, who has sold many homes in the area. “Not everyone likes newer homes. You can find a lot of character in these older homes.” For under $100,000, you can find an undeveloped parcel of land or a home in need of work. Most single-family homes, however, range in price from the low $100,000s to the high $200,000s. “It’s the perfect place for first-time homebuyers to purchase properties or investors to fix up and flip homes,” Curtis says. “These are homes with good bones.”
