A.R. Johnson is a good school for the county it is in. In more recent years the enrollment requirements have loosened but it still is very high-quality with teachers that care about the students. And clubs to cover many interest.

I have been attending Johnson Magnet ever since I was in sixth grade and I loved it although I did not like the bus situation. Since we are a magnet school we have to ride a charter bus to our original zoned school and we would get home sometimes 2 to 3 hours later. I also loved my teachers to my senior year however at the start of my freshmen year all of my favorite teachers left due to the new administration.

A.R. Johnson is okay. It's not exceptional, and you get an untraditional high school experience. There is not much to engage the students via extracurriculars, and the administration has made numerous staff quit. I would've rather went to a different high school.

This school is great on paper. There's a lot of clubs kids can join (HOSA, TSA, Skills USA, Orchestra, the Reading, Math, and Science Bowls, ACADECA, etc.) and a whole bunch of AP and Dual Enrollment classes for the nerds (including yours truly). On the other hand, if you actually go to this school,...

This school offers classes and resources unavailable to other students focusing on STEM, Engineering, and Health Sciences. It is a small community type of atmosphere where all students feel included and welcome. Teachers and students conduct themselves in a respectful manner. The school holds/conduc...

Don’t come to this school. This is the lamest Magnet School in Richmond County. Mr. Tudor was the best principle we had, we had fun with him! Our new principal strips us of our freedom. As a magnet school we barley have sports and fun events as it is. But the new principal took away our Spring spiri...

My son had a bully, I contacted the school and my son reported it stopped. I’m not sure what actions the school took per hippa but it was isolated. 9 th graders are nice and participate in gum with my son, I was surprised by this. Seems like a great school with nice kids. My son has just finished hi...
