When it comes to housing in Three Trails, there's a distinct atmosphere of placidness, with trees dotting the quiet streets and front yards with shade. Three Trails has several green spaces scattered throughout, from neighborhood pocket parks to systems of walking trails that weave through neighborhoods. However, its most significant outdoor space is Santa Fe Park, which features a large playground, tennis courts and scenic trails. Public schools fall under the Independence School District, and kids can start at Santa Fe Elementary, which has a B on Niche and is ranked as one of their top standout elementary schools in the Kansas City area. Bridger Middle serves as a sixth-grade gap school before students move on to Pioneer Ridge Middle, which receives a B-minus on Niche. The pastel-painted buildings of art galleries and ice cream shops harken to a classic Americana vibe, imminently walkable for those exploring. It serves as both a small-town event hub and one of the best sources for filling the schedule for a day. From Pilates and yoga classes at Studio on Main to craft beers at 3 Trails Brewing and medium-rare steaks at Ophelia's, the access to downtown is unbeatable.
