Bryn Mawr offers curb appeal and access to trails
Bryn Mawr provides plenty of curb appeal, thanks to its New Traditional and transitional home styles, along with spacious yards. But what draws buyers to this west Omaha neighborhood just as powerfully is its unique location close to community parks and the Big Papio Trail. Anne Conway, Realtor with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, says, “Nearby parks are big assets and definite selling points of this area, and the nearby trail system is wonderful. Homeowners around here take full advantage of it for biking, walking and jogging.”
Sizable homes on spacious shady lots
Built in the 1980s and ‘90s, Bryn Mawr features homes from 2,500 to 5,000-plus square feet. Brick New Traditional homes, with two- and three-car garages, stand alongside transitional homes, with gabled roofs and hardiplank siding, on large lots of more than a quarter acre. Many homes are on quiet cul-de-sacs, and the entire neighborhood has paved sidewalks dotted with mature hardwood trees that provide shade in the summer and colorful foliage in the fall. You can find four-bedroom brick New Traditionals with about 4,400 square feet for around $520,000. Or, for around $450,000, find a five-bedroom, two-story transitional home with a fully finished basement on one-third of an acre.
