James Falko

Joe Falko has spent the past 15 years in the Real Estate and finance sectors. At the age of 22 he was asked to join the elite private client and high net worth group at Merrill Lynch in New York City. Joe excelled as a Financial Consultant and twice was awarded a “Superstar broker” rating. He managed nearly $250 million in client assets. He has strong knowledge in equity and fixed income markets as well as a deep understanding for options trading.

Joe moved to Denver, CO in February of 2001 and began working for Index Powered Financial Services (IPFS), a boutique bank consulting firm. As a Senior Institutional salesperson, Joe managed the day-to-day management of his sales group as well as administering his own book of business. Joe played an integral role in the development, marketing and sales of the industry-known Indexed Powered CD. During his tenure at IPFS, Joe successfully oversaw and sold nearly $175 million of the financial tool.

Simultaneously, Joe created Cardinal Holdings, LLC, a real estate development and holding company. He has successfully bought, managed, built, and supported a multi-million-dollar portfolio of lofts, town homes, condominiums and single-family residences spread over Colorado. He serves as CEO of Cardinal Holdings. He is a licensed Colorado Employing Broker, owning Falko Realty, LLC. as well. He was formerly with Keller Williams where he won numerous awards including the Top Producer and Bronze Production Award.

In his 10+ years of real estate experience, Joe has been involved in nearly all aspects of the real estate market: developing, rehabbing and flipping properties, hundreds of transactions, short sales, portfolio acquisitions and sales, and evaluating commercial and residential projects. He has also created numerous relationships with builders, developers, brokerage firms, hedge funds, REITS, private equity firms as well as high net worth individuals who all take part in Joe’s affairs. Joe also founded, built and has Federally Trademarked a chain of high-end Spanish Mexican restaurants known as the Santa Fe Tequila Companies which he sold in 2009.

Joe attended Amherst College where he played football. He majored in Economics and tripled-minored in Political Science, Philosophy, and Spanish. He graduated in less than 4 years in May of 1998. During his academic career Joe studied abroad in London, England where he received the “Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement” and attended the Universidad de Alicante in Alicante, Spain studying the European Monetary Union (EMU).

Joe lives with his only son, Jackson, in Lone Tree with their Jack Russell Terrier, Lilly. They enjoy going to Broncos games, traveling, and looking for mischief.
