John Canova

John has been fortunate to call Boulder home for over 25 years. He originally arrived in Colorado to study at CU-Boulder and quickly fell in love with the town, people, and beautiful natural surroundings. John is a licensed residential broker that specializes in the Boulder market. He has an in-depth knowledge of the community and the various neighborhoods and has a passion for sharing this with his clients. Over the course of his time here, John has lived in just about every neighborhood in town: Newlands, Chautauqua, Table Mesa, The Hill, West Marine, and up Boulder Canyon. He currently resides in Mapleton Hill with his family. John has successfully navigated the construction process with remodels and a ground-up build and owns and operates rental/investment properties in town.

Prior to focusing on Real Estate, John has proven himself as a successful entrepreneur. Business accomplishments include founding a Marketing Research business that has been retained by some of the world's most dynamic brands (Adidas, Xfinity/Comcast, and Corona, to name a few), creating an International Ultra-Luxury Adventure Travel Business, and building up and operating a Nutrition Counseling Business to nine locations and over 50 employees. Eager to share his knowledge with future business leaders, he regularly returns to his alma mater CU as a guest lecturer at the Leeds School of Business. John enjoys applying and integrating skills from the business world into his passion for Real Estate, sharing with clients his enthusiasm, persistence, negotiating prowess, and marketing expertise.

John understands firsthand the process of successfully navigating Real Estate transactions and analyzes each deal for his clients as if it were for his own family. His primary goal is to build trust, develop lasting client relationships, and create an enjoyable experience and successful outcome. When he is not helping clients find their dream homes, John can usually be found taking advantage of the Boulder lifestyle; mountain biking, hiking, fly fishing, or trying to keep up with his wife and two daughters on the ski hill.
