John Murphy II

John G. Murphy II is a second-generation realtor in Northern Colorado. He grew up in Estes Park where his father owned a Coldwell Banker office. He is a graduate of Colorado State University, where he completed his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. After graduating from CSU, he started and ran a carpet cleaning company that quickly grew into a leading property restoration company in Northern Colorado. John sold that business in December 2015 and purchased and ran a captive insurance agency until becoming a Realtor. Having been around real estate his whole life he decided to put his passion, experience, hard work and talent into his own real estate career. He is excited to serve Northern Colorado residents in the home buying/selling process. When not helping Northern Colorado home buyers/sellers, John enjoys spending time with his family traveling, hiking, skiing and swimming. He is married and has two boys, age 11 and 8. John is an active volunteer at Traut Elementary School in Fort Collins and regularly volunteers his time for his boy’s youth activities including lacrosse, soccer, basketball and baseball.
