The Strub team was great to work with in general, and Eric Pugatch in particular was fantastic. Buying a home while out of state was always going to come with unique stresses, but Eric did everything possible to keep us at peace and informed. He was very responsive and always professional. He got in our last-second offer which included having to convince the sellers to consider some special circumstances. He unhesitatingly went to the home multiple times on our behalf while encouraging us to fly out to see the home in person while we could still back out if necessary. We are so thankful that he did! In fact, even after closing, he was there for us. Above and beyond!

Eric and the Strub team connected us with a lender and home inspector, both of whom ended up being great. And at no point were they pushy about having us use their recommended associates.

The current market in Austin is wild and we will always be grateful to the Strub team for guiding us through it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I cannot say enough good words about Justyn and Strub! I relocated to Austin from Seattle in the middle of a pandemic and I absolutely couldn't have done it without him! After being disappointed with my first realtor and not really jivving with my friend's referrals, I did a round of interviews with realtor firms. Strub connected me with Justyn, and he impressed me with is knowledge, energy, and specialty in relocations. I decided to go with him, and couldn't be happier with my decision. First, he took the time to really get to know me and my preferences. From the beginning I felt like I had a partner who really cared. Second, Justyn works incredibly hard and he knows exactly the questions/concerns/needs that long-distance shoppers have. I think he might be psychic because he would often reach out with answers before I could even ask the question. As soon as I expressed any interest in a house, Justyn was on it. And the best part for you long-distance shoppers - he takes walk-through videos of homes so you almost feel like you are there. The market was incredibly competitive with limited inventory when I was shopping, and with Justyn's expertise, we put together a winning offer that I felt good about. But it doesn't stop there with Justyn. My house sat empty for quite awhile before I could move, and he went above and beyond, regularly stopping by to make sure all was in order. During the horrible storm in February, he turned my faucets to drip (and eventually worked with my neighbors to turn off my water) to ensure my pipes didn't burst. Last, but certainly not least, Justyn is a friendly, warm person and was a joy to work with. Seriously go with Justyn. He is the best!

We were moving from SF Bay Area to Austin and were recommended Justyn LeFebvre from STRUB, and boy, it was one of the best decisions we have ever made. It was our first time buying a house and Justyn guided us through every step of the process, from finding a local lender (essential) to local insurance agents, and inspectors. He was brilliant at expertly and humorously fielding my wife’s hundreds of calls, texts, and FaceTimes.

Justyn first suggested we fly in for a weekend to tour some properties and to meet face to face. While we didn’t get the one house we made an offer on, this was all Justyn needed to get a feel for us as people, the house we were looking for, and the neighborhoods we wanted.

During the next few weeks, Justyn would FaceTime us, and send us video clips of houses we targeted through his email updates of the available houses. We had a great relationship with him, and we totally trusted his judgment with houses he thought were, or were not, right for us.

After putting in several bids where we became the second-placed backup buyer, we landed a great house after Justyn recommended certain conditions in our offer. He mentioned that the whole team at STRUB Residential had meetings to discuss the crazy Austin market and ways to cut through the multiple offers and to become the winning bid. I assume the other STRUB agents have the same skill too.

Where Justyn really excelled though was after we made the purchase. We were in Palm Springs on the first night of our Penske truck cross country caravan when the Great Texas Ice Freeze happened. He advised us to camp out longer in El Paso, while he organized for our empty house to be protected from pipe death. These were not the actions of an agent, but of a personal friend.

When we did arrive the Sunday after the thaw, he was there to greet us with a great first-week care / welcome package, and a fantastic email that contained links to all of the services and contractors we would need, and instructions on how to set up our car and license in Texas.

We could not recommend Justyn any more highly. I could not believe how he made our out-of-state house purchase so smooth, especially in this cutthroat market.

Strub Realty made our first time homebuying experience very easy. We relocated to Austin about a year ago and were looking to set down roots now that we have a better feel for the area. Strub was our first choice and we are glad that we chose them.

It should be no surprise buying a house in 2020/2021 that the market was extremely competitive with some houses receiving an incredible amount of offers. Our Agent, Rosie, helped us navigate in making a competitive offer and we were done with our home search in record timing!

Rosie was polite, accomodating and truly helped us from start to finish in this process, including checking in on us after the purchase was complete. She also continually provided us with recommendations for adjacent services like electricians and landscapers. She truly made us feel like we were part of her family. If you are looking for a realtor in the Austin area, one with a company behind him that supports him and you all the way, then look no further...Eric Pugatch at Strub Residential is your man. Moving back to Texas from California was a daunting task but one that Eric had also made in his past so he was intimately familiar with what we were going through. My wife and I of 32 years had spent most of our time in Houston and had always wanted to live in the hill country but simply had no knowledge of the neighborhoods or what to expect. Eric patiently and professionally showed us neighborhood after neighborhood and kept introducing us to new ideas until we fell in love but then we had to negotiate as our love came with a great price tag. We were building our dream home with a custom builder and as we progressed he kept pointing out things that we would never have seen. So much so that we ended up ending our dealings with our initial builder and going with another, and much better builder that has truly been a pleasure to work with. Eric could have kept quiet and made the easy sale but knew what he saw would not make us happy and that spoke volumes to us. I have had the pleasure of working with Eric for both a sale of a home and the purchase of a home a year later. Both of these home decisions were difficult for me as one was as I left an old life and the other was me stepping into my new life and the fear of doing that alone.
Eric handled both situations exquisitely as he was there to schedule repairs to the house for sale, facilitated the repairs getting done so I didn’t have to leave work, and was just a sweet, caring guy who still got his job done well. For the home purchase he worked with me as I extended option period, got cold feet, and figured everything out that I needed to feel I had done my due diligence to accept such a large endeavor. He was there to guide me, listen to me(even when it was more therapy than selling the house), and kept the dynamic between us and the sellers positive. I pushed him to ask for things he thought were unwise, but we still did them. He gave me guidance on what he knew and referred me to the appropriate people when more technical information was needed.
Overall, Eric is a great realtor to have as your partner. He wants the best for his clients, and I feel he truly takes pride in helping people get their lives situated as they want. I highly recommend Eric.

OMG Where do I start. Justyn LeFebvre helped me and my girlfriend Sandy find a house to build. We met with him just a couple of times and talked about what we wanted in a home. Eric was very helpful in finding the right home for us. Having relocated from CA and new to Austin, we only had a vision on what needs to be in the house.
Eric was quick in understanding our expectations and needs nailed down and shortlisted a few homes including new developments in good locations.

1st time home buyer, new to the Austin area, and only in Austin part-time during my house hunt: I worked with Justyn and without him, who knows where I would be living right now. Alas, we closed on a perfect home in early March, making it through aggressive competition, and I could not be happier and more optimistic about my future in Austin.

It is clear now, especially for a 1st-time buyer, that you need a full-service agency and dedicated agent and that's exactly what Strub was able to provide. If I had cut corners or gone for the bargain model that was offered to me along the way, I would not have landed in this neighborhood, I would not have been able to close on something with as much value and upside, and the level of stress and anxiety would have been too great. I threw a lot at Mark and Justyn early on. I was relocating from the Bay Area and I could only be down here part-time. I also came in thinking I knew exactly what I was looking for only to change my mind several times along the way.

Justyn was on top of everything the whole way. He provided research and perspective early on to help me better understand the market, neighborhoods, and to educate me on the finer details of the home buying process. Before we saw anything, he would stop by himself to make sure it was worth our joint time together (HUGE!). While I was away he did video tours of homes on our list (who does that!?). He worked hard to make sure we had private times to view homes so that we could focus. He was always available to chat, dig into something, or just listen to me think out loud.

"You'll know when you walk in," is a cliche, but it is true. Once we found the house, Justyn was on it, making sure we had the leg up and using the whole team at Strub to ensure we looked at it from all angles. We were aggressive where we needed to be and tactful in some key areas that gave us the edge without increasing my costs.

Ultimately, it was the time, effort, and great coaching that got me to the perfect home and neighborhood. I know I have a great resource here if anything comes up along the way or if I ever want to buy and/or sell in the Austin area again.

This review is for Rosie Ochoa at Strub. I started out looking for a house to rent in Austin that would accommodate my large dog. I found Rosie as a leasing agent and she guided me through finding a house to rent in Austin. However, I had so much trouble finding a place to rent (I think having a large dog was a deterrent to getting places), that Rosie gently recommended that I might consider buying a place. I had great credit and some money saved, and she explained how there were places in my budget where I'd be paying the same amount for my mortgage and insurance every month as I'd be paying for the same houses I was looking to rent. It made sense to me and wasn't even an option I had considered. I'm so glad that she recommended it, even though I know it was in her best interest as well.

We chose to work with Ashley Jamieson of Strub Residential for a second time when selling our first home and buying our second. We had just as lovely an experience as we did the first time around! Ashley is always completely professional and invited us in for a formal presentation of how our home selling process could look relative to similar sales in the area. It was great to have this kind of attention even though we had worked with Ashley before- it reminded us of the work that she puts into making sure our experience as homeowners goes as smoothly as possible.

Ashley's attention to detail ensured our property looked perfect when we officially put it on the market. Strub compiled professional photos and a fast facts binder for potential buyers that really made our property feel special. We sold our home at above asking price within a week!

At the same time, Ashley brought us to see a number of properties that fit our interest when buying a second home and we ultimately found a perfect option in the neighborhood we wanted and at the perfect price point. We found the place more quickly than expected, but the timing of the sale of our home and move in to the next ended up working out very smoothly thanks to Ashley's help. Ashley's help in communicating with the builder of our new home was invaluable and we always felt like we could trust that everything would go the way we expected. She is direct and friendly and always available when needed. She checked in with us a few times after moving in and was so kind to give us a sweet housewarming gift as well.

Being a first time home buyer, the Austin market was very intimidating for me. Working with another agent from another firm a couple years back and after multiple bidding wars with no success, I took my frustrations and decided to take a break from house hunting.

We would email him with lists of housing development areas and home plans we were interested in and he would go out and meet with the builders and walk through the models so that he could give us more details.
