About Michael

Mike is one of the most dymanic real estate professionals in Fort Collins. With nearly 1800 real estate transactions valued at nearly $1B, Mike Jensen is uniquely qualified to help home-owners, businesses owners, investors and developers accomplish their real estate goals.
Michael Jensen entered the local real estate market after graduating with a double major in Real Estate and Finance from CSU; and has been a licensed Realtor since 1996.

More than 2,300 transactions later, Jensen has consistently been in the top 1% of all local brokers and in the top 5% in the state most years. After selling his first company, Housing Helpers in 2001, he pursued his dream to live on a sailboat in the Caribbean for 20 months before he returned and purchased Fort Collins Real Estate in 2003. He grew this company to over 30 people strong with 20 agents, which he then merged with Keller Williams in September 2008.

again as he continues to serve his Residential & Commercial clients
Michael focuses on residential and commercial investment sales, as well as urban infill redevelopment projects, marketing new projects and assembling land. He has a passion for the renewal and reinvention of Downtown Fort Collins and the North College Avenue Corridor.

In addition to taking extremely good care of his buyer and seller clients, Mike is currently involved in numerous real estate projects and opportunities throughout Fort Collins. His specialties include; land development and assemblages, commercial development, re-development and urban infill, as well as helping homeowners find and negotiate the best opportunities for home-ownership throughout the many wonderful places to live in Fort Collins.

He is involved in many organizations including UniverCity Connections, North Fort Collins Business Association, the Downtown Development Authority, and he sits on the Board of Directors for the Salvation Army and OpenStage Theatre.

If there was anyone you wanted in your real estate corner it would be Mike Jensen. Mike has a plethora of experience when it comes to all things real estate as we are first time home buyers in the Fort Collins area. Mike shared his experiences (26 yrs!) in the home buying process and we were never left in the dark. Day or night, we were able to communicate with Mike on any questions we had (e.g. what to look for in a home, location, size, pros/cons of homes etc.). Also, since my wife is in the medical field, Mike is now part of the Homes for Heroes program in Colorado which provides monetary home buying assistance! I would highly recommend Mike and we certainly plan to have Mike help us in the future whenever we plan on buying/selling a future home!

Mike has an amazing reputation in the area for providing great realty services, and he did more for us during the home buying process than we could have ever expected. From day one, Mike had a plan for how we would find our first home in Fort Collins. We didn’t know exactly what we wanted, but he showed us numerous houses over two days to help us narrow down our wants/needs in a house. Mike wasn’t interested in getting us just into any house though, he provided insightful information regarding the houses’ construction, the neighborhoods’ status, and any small nuances about the area we may have not known. He can only do that after working decades in this area, and it really pays off. All of his recommendations for other businesses that had to be part of the home buying process brought honest, professional people to the table and made buying a house a breeze. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and feel confident that our purchase was not only a perfect first home, but a sound investment. We look forward to working with Mike in the future if we outgrow this house, and recommend him to anyone looking for an honest, hardworking realtor in Fort Collins. Thank you Mike!!
