The best part of my experience would definitely be the Math Science and Technology Magnet because they fostered a culture of ambition and taking academics seriously. Students motivated each other in the magnet and the teachers actually cared about what they were teaching. I also really valued the theater department and the lengths the theater teacher would go to in order to create meaningful shows with very limited resources.

I like the teachers and staff, also the After School Programs, and Tutoring. I would like my school to get aerial silks in the gym to be used to improve in Cheerleading and Dance, because the studios that offer it are much too expensive. Also I would like the chess club to be re-instated. Otherwise we mostly have everything else here.

Abraham Lincoln offers a handful of advanced placement classes you can challenge yourself with. There is a small bit of clubs available at the school and few college credit classes you are able to take. Preparing students for college readiness and having more resources is an improvement the school should take into consideration.

I am a student attending Lincoln high school, I transferred sophomore year and my grades boosted up! I have nearly straight A's you know why? Because every class is easy teachers just pick favorites and since it's in the ghetto they expect us to be stupid so they give us easy work. The magnet is the...
