The school seems very focused on test scores and not how to get there. The processes and study habits they teach are often just on memorization instead of genuine learning.

It's a really good school, some minor downfalls, but the school opens a lot of opportunities for students to grow and learn. It is a work load but you know what you sign up for when you first apply.

A.R. Johnson is okay. It's not exceptional, and you get an untraditional high school experience. There is not much to engage the students via extracurriculars, and the administration has made numerous staff quit. I would've rather went to a different high school.
