Canyon Vista Middle School’s reputation for excellence is well-known in the area. Residents often cite the school’s outstanding achievement record and wide range of extracurricular opportunities as a factor in their decision to move to the area.
Students at Canyon Vista are high achievers in virtually every pursuit, be it academic, athletic or artistic. The school offers a choice of dance, band, orchestra, theater or choir. The entire fine arts program comes together every year for a showcase event.
STEM–learning which combines the disciplines of science, technology, engineering and math–is an essential part of the Canyon Vista experience, and students have been awarded top prizes at science and engineering fairs. The school’s STEM-dedicated parent association provides support for activities, competitions and special events.
Students can spend their after-school hours engaged in an array of enrichment activities such as coding, robotics and MathCounts or in clubs that unite around shared interests like anime, philosophy or art. Canyon Vista athletes are as sure-footed as their mustang mascot. The school offers football, soccer, basketball, volleyball and track.
Eighth-grade graduates go on to Westwood High School, the top school in the district and among the best in the nation.

I tried posting a review onto google reviews but I guess the school administration or wtv didn't approve it, I am an 8th grader so this is my second to last day here. It's better than most schools I'm aware of, you just need good teachers that can actually help you memorize stuff and are forgiving....
