The Summerwind School of Math and Science has provided students with some of the finest educational opportunities since opening its doors in 1976. This award-winning STEM academy leads the way in academic achievement and supports kids as they progress from pre-Kindergarten through fifth grade. At Summerwind, students learn in a challenging environment that integrates math and science across the curriculum, so it's no surprise students consistently perform well above the state average in literacy, science and math courses here. Summerwind's campus includes modern classrooms, STEM-based learning centers, an interactive library, a cafeteria, two playgrounds and an expansive recreation field that hosts various activities and events throughout the school year. Students regularly interact with hands-on project-based learning to strengthen their skills in core subjects and learn the social skills needed to succeed throughout their lives.
