Established in 1908, Burbank High School is a public school in the Burbank Unified School District. Home of the Bulldogs, the school is located at 902 N Third Street in Burbank. In addition to its core curriculum of math, science, English and social studies courses, the high school features honors and Advanced Placement classes and satisfies entrance requirements for the University of California collegiate system. The school has an award-winning athletics program featuring basketball, football, tennis, cross-country, track and field, baseball, water polo and golf. The school also boasts a prestigious visual arts program featuring animation, journalism, video production and more concentrations. Burbank proudly sponsors several nationally recognized programs including In Sync, a celebrated show choir that was ranked number one in the country in 2010. Another celebrated extracurricular is speech and debate, which was hailed by the National Speech and Debate Association as one of the top speech and debate program in America for the 2020-2021 school year.

All the teachers and counselors are great. I think diversity is precious in this school, so many kinds of students can enjoy their school lives.

It's a great school with just a few flaws that tend to stack on top of each other. The academics and arts programs are great, though with limited funding. Sports are alright, again, there is limited funding. Overall, the school is great.

My experience at Burbank High School was very good all of my teachers provided me with all the resources I needed to succeed. I was more than prepared for college thanks to my teachers there. Our performing arts was amazing as well. Only thing I feel like could have been worked on was the kindness of our students.

Although not all my daughter’s teachers were terrible, some dropped the ball in a big way. She had bad experiences with her guidance counselor which messed her up when she was trying to get the classes she needed. She had an especially bad experience in her senior year with her parking pass. The cou...

BHS admin, like others, is weak when it comes to "good kids" not living up to their potential and who get restless in 11th and 12th grade and start screwing up. They don't refer them (they likely can't) to an options school where the students would do far better because there's not 3k other students...

The school has a great range of activities, clubs, sports, excellent teachers, strong curriculum's and a great community that supports the students. Its a great high school.

Burbank High School has very strong leadership in their principal and administration staff. This is an incredible high school and the kids are given every opportunity, both academically and socially, to excel and enjoy their years in high school.
