Lycée International de Los Angeles Burbank campus is part of The International School of Los Angeles, a five-campus international school serving sixth through twelfth grades. Located at 1105 W. Riverside Drive in Burbank, Lycée International is a 263 student, co-educational campus hosting international students as well as local students in the Los Angeles area. The school is a standout in academic excellence and offers a bilingual curriculum of the French and International Baccalaureate institutions, which is designed to prepare students for college and University studies.
Education focuses on the STEM program which is comprised of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Courses are offered through four primary areas of study including art, music, performance and world languages. The other four campuses are spread throughout Los Angeles and serve preschool through fifth grade only. Burbank is the only campus serving sixth through twelfth grades.
This location was established in 2013 after The International School of Los Angeles purchased a one-story building built by General Motors in the 1950s. Following renovations, the campus contains 23 classrooms, four labs, an auditorium, art room, sports room, outdoor volleyball and basketball courts. Vans and buses are provided, as well as boarding for international students. Admission requires an application, transcript and interview prior to acceptance.
