Well, it could have been worse. There are AP classes offered and many decent teachers, and many teachers who do care. However, overall the school is not great. Not only is their a drug issue, but there are also issues of teachers being... not good people to say the least. Not only that, but the overall atmosphere of the school is being done with others. However, there are many resources if you choose to use them for support for college and seeking achievement. Overall, it could be worse.

I honestly really like this school. I think there could be more recognition and expansion of academics. I also think adding more college resources would be super helpful as many students are completely in the dark about applications. Overall, I think it's a great school.

Capital Senior High school has its ups and down. I personally love it here. We might not have the best sports teams but you know for sure we will always show out for a game. The teachers are great despite their being an obvious drop in teachers wanting to teach.

The school has advanced placement courses but also strives to improve traditional student's learning. They offer a variety of higher education courses, sports, and arts community.

Latin club was rated best program in state. CHS offers French, German, Spanish, and Latin languages. Plenty of clubs, plenty of class choices and electives.
