The counseling office could use some tweaking in their methods of talking and connecting to the students, and because I've been to 4 different high school, a new high school for every year of high school, it would've been nice to have a new counselor who could understand that I just wanted my transfer to my senior year to be smooth and not semi-stressful. This is including how I had to drop my psychology class this semester to take a semester of P.E. because I needed 5 more P.E. credits to graduate high school, but she didn't inform me of this at the beginning of the year, and I'm the only 18 year old senior in a class full of freshman and sophomores.

I most definitely love my fellow students and teachers. They make you want to attend school every day. First off with the students, it's really easy to make new friends because I believe there is so much opportunity to meet new people. There are so many clubs to just meet new people and they are so nice too. The teachers are amazing, they really want you to exceed expectations and will follow you until you make it.

Pleasant Valley High is a great school for sports and hard working students with fantastic teachers who care about your education and love teaching. The best experience has to be the Almond Bowl and friendly school rivalry with Chico High across town. Worst experience would be the library having limited room for students and sometimes not being let in because they recognize some students as friends.

Great School! Both my kids graduated from PVHS and did the full IB program which many schools don't offer. They were involved with many different extra curricular activities and were on various sports teams all through their four years. For the most part, we were very impressed with their teachers....

This school has allowed coaching staff to discriminate against individual students repeatedly. The coaches humiliate students within the school. They also go above and beyond to communicate with other schools to isolate and block students from opportunities that may be the only opportunity to change...

PVHS works very hard to offer a variety of learning experiences to their students. They have a video technology class that submitted Public Service Announcements to a State contest and walked away with a number of prizes. But the most important aspect is that they were from the student's perspective...
