Overall, Environmental Charter High School was an amazing experience with very few flaws. The school was mainly lacking in terms of college readiness, as many students did not know about any private schools or out of state options.

I really love this school. This school represents my culture and many of my peer's culture. They create event to celebrate diversity and culture in the school. The campus is amazing and there is a lot of nature we have rabbits chickens and a pond for our very own fish. The teachers in this school value connections with their students. Our teachers have similar backgrounds to us which makes us feel more connected to the teachers. This school has really supported me throughout the years. As a first generation student that's going to go to college this school has prepared my parent and I throughly this journey and made it easy for me to succeed. Overall I recome y the environmental charter schools to all low income atúrdenos of color who want to receive a great education. This school prepares all students to graduate and value the education and the well being of all students.

Environmental Charter High School is an inspiring place to work. The staff truly cares about the wellbeing of every child. 98% of our graduates are accepted into a four year college, and 92% of graduates go to college the following year. We truly live our mission to reimagine public education in low income communities of color, to prepare conscious critical thinkers who are equipped to graduate from college and create a more equitable and sustainable world. I LOVE working at this school.

As a student at ECHS Lawndale ive first hand seen how the staff and educators act with crying outbreaks or getting in students faces when they cant control themselves. The staff complains about how their devices stress them so much and create a mandate specifically for the students excluding the use...

The staff does an excellent job mediating conflicts and coaching the kids on communication and conflict management skills. They are also provide proactive academic support so that no student is left behind. They are kind and transparent with students and parents and have the most positive attitude.

ECHS excels and out ranks most, if not all, surrounding high schools and further. School is for learning and academics and that is their focus. There are some sports offered and if they expanded that, it would be even better. The environment is calm and safe, unlike your typical large overcrowded hi...
